This fantastic piece is 1880’s French bronze frame, It is masterfully made and can be used on table top or wall. This period of French bronze and art was a Neoclassical period of Rodin was trying to escape from. Bronzing and art bronzes are some of my favorite pieces in the antique world.

1800’s ANTIQUE BRONZE ASIAN CLOISONNÉ LARGE FLOWER BIRD VASE
This is a wonderful vintage Asian large 10” bronze cloisonné vase. It is very detailed and super quality made In the cloisonné technique, thin strips of metal are bent and curved to follow the outline of a decorative pattern; they are then attached, usually soldered, to the surface of the metal object, forming miniature walls that meet and create little cells between them. Into these cells, the powdered enamel is laid and fused. After it has cooled, the surface can be polished to remove imperfections and to add to the brilliance. The cloisonné technique is particularly suited to objects made of gold, such as jewelryMany cloisonné body ornaments have been found in tombs dating B.C. Today, international museums are displaying examples of Byzantine, Celtic, Persian, Egyptian, Slav, Greek, Islamic and Russian cloisonné pieces, from the B.C. and A.D. periods.

VINTAGE 1950’S ORIGINAL MID-CENTURY PAUL EVANS BRONZE ART
This is a wonderful vintage 1950’s bronze original art from Paul Evans. It is unsigned, I could not find initials or signature. This came from estate of person who had known Paul in PA in late 1950’s early 1960’s and was a gift. It is a super nice piece, It measures almost 7″ weighs over 25lbs solid bronze. An American born furniture designer, sculptor and artist, , who is famous for his contributions to American furniture design and the American Craft Movement of the 1970s, and with his work with the influential American manufacturer Directional Furniture. His creation of metal sculpted furniture set him apart.
