1950s Frank Polk Western Bandit Mills Slot Machine

slot machine1950s Frank Polk Character slots came into being in the early 1950s when Frank Polk carved 92 life-size statues to hold slot machines.  As the price of an original Polk character slot machine rose beyond the reach of even the most ardent collector, a few other artists started to carve character slots in 1977.  There are only several hundred of the wood carved character slots in existence, and therefore, they are quite rare and hard to find.  He is solid wood stand over 6ft.

VINTAGE AFRICAN LIONESS TAXIDERMY

lion

This is one of my favorite items in the store now.   She is massive!!  She is bigger than the normal lion.   I had specialist tell me this lioness makes others look dwarfed.  The female lions are the pride’s primary hunters. They often work together to prey upon antelopes, zebras, wildebeest, and other large animals of the open grasslands. Many of these animals are faster than lions, so teamwork pays off.  She is for sale!  and she is at a great price.

Different tribes used different materials, weaving techniques, basket shapes, and characteristic patterns.
