VINTAGE 1800 s DEXTERITY GAME TOY BLACK LADY
1800’s original dexterity game with black lady. The emphasis here is on steady hands, perseverance, and lots of patience rather than logical analysis. In his seminal book Puzzles Old and New published in 1893, Angelo John Lewis, writing under the pen name “Professor Louis Hoffmann” described the class of dexterity puzzles as those “which do not depend upon any secret, or intellectual process, but upon some knack, only to be obtained by repeated persistent effort of the ‘try and try again’ kind on the part of the operator.
1930’s MICKEY MOUSE PENCIL SCHOOL BOX rare!
This is a wonderful rare hard to find 1930’s Mickey Mouse pencil school box. Mickey Mouse is dear to my heart. My father was a Disney artist toy maker had one of the largest collections in the world, and open a toy museum in Japan in 1990’s. Mickey Mouse was born in 1928 his first cartoon was Steamboat Willie and the rest is history. I can remember as a kid the house filling up with all these toys and items. I spent many days at the studios and the tunnels in Disneyland. Mickey Mouse is the #1 icon in the world!!!

Two vintage Kelloggs Ogg the caveman and lady promo cereal toys 1 3/4″ from Cocoa Krispies. Promo toys in ceral boxes started in early 1900’s, Some early examples were cut out toys on boxes. Early promotion to target the kids. Many of these items are small and hard to find, many lost or just broken or trashed.
